Every treatment is a little different — and so is every client. Before your visit, take a look through our most commonly asked questions about treatments, appointments, and policies. If you don't see what you're looking for, our team is always happy to help.
No. Every client is unique, and not every treatment is appropriate for every person.
Please discuss any medical conditions, medications, allergies, recent procedures, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or other health concerns with your practitioner before receiving a service or during your consultation.
Your safety is always our priority. If we determine that a scheduled treatment is not appropriate for you, we may modify, postpone, or decline the service. In some situations, clearance from your physician may be required before treatment can be performed.
Yes. Please let your practitioner know about any medications, supplements, medical conditions, allergies, recent procedures, changes in your health, or significant changes to your skincare routine.
Even if you have received the same treatment previously, your health, medications, skin, and other factors can change over time and may affect whether a treatment is appropriate for you.
Some treatments, technologies, and skincare products may not be recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Please let us know before your appointment so we can help determine which services are appropriate for you.
Yes. Bellagena treats clients of all ages; however, available services are limited for minors and parental or legal guardian consent is required. Certain treatments may have additional age restrictions or may not be appropriate for minors.
You don't have to figure that out on your own. Our consultations allow us to learn about your concerns, goals, skin, treatment history, lifestyle, and preferences so we can recommend an appropriate treatment plan. At Bellagena, we believe great results often come from creating a thoughtful plan rather than simply choosing an individual treatment.
In many cases, yes. Certain treatments complement each other and may be performed during the same appointment, while others should be spaced apart. Your practitioner will determine what combinations are appropriate based on the treatments, your skin, your goals, and your medical history.
Preparation varies depending on the service. When specific pre-treatment instructions are required, our team will provide them before your appointment. Please follow all instructions carefully and contact us before your visit if you are unsure about anything.
For more advanced treatments, including laser services, please refer to our treatment-specific information and FAQs.
New clients are encouraged to arrive approximately 10 minutes early to allow time for required forms, health history information, and treatment preparation. Returning clients should notify us of any changes to medications, health history, recent procedures, or skincare products before treatment.
Please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the service and the amount of appointment time remaining, we may need to shorten, modify, or reschedule your treatment. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be considered a no-show and are subject to our cancellation policy.
To maintain a relaxing environment and allow our practitioners to focus fully on your care, we recommend attending your appointment without additional guests or children whenever possible. Certain treatment areas may also have safety or privacy restrictions that prevent guests from accompanying you during your service.
Results vary depending on the treatment, your individual skin or body, your response to treatment, home care, lifestyle, and whether a series of treatments is recommended. Some treatments provide an immediate improvement, while others are designed to create progressive changes over several weeks or months. No cosmetic or aesthetic treatment can guarantee a specific result. Your practitioner will discuss realistic expectations with you.
Yes. Following your practitioner's pre- and post-treatment instructions is an important part of both your safety and your results. Please contact Bellagena if you have questions about your aftercare or experience an unexpected reaction following treatment.
If you experience an unexpected reaction, significant discomfort, or have any concerns following a treatment, please contact Bellagena immediately so our team can assist you and provide appropriate guidance. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, a severe reaction, or symptoms that require urgent care, seek medical attention immediately. Do not delay necessary medical care while waiting to hear back from our office. When contacting us, please provide as much information as possible about your symptoms, when they began, and any changes you have noticed since your treatment.
Services are performed by appropriately licensed, trained, or qualified members of our team based on the type of treatment being provided. Some services may require medical oversight, medical clearance, or consultation with a medical provider.
Yes. A valid credit card is required to reserve an appointment. Your card is securely kept on file and is not charged for your scheduled service in advance unless a deposit is required or a cancellation, late cancellation, or no-show fee applies.
Consultations require a $25 deposit to reserve your appointment. When you book your recommended service at the time of your consultation, your $25 consultation deposit will be credited toward that service.
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee of 50% of the scheduled service price. No-show appointments may be charged 100% of the scheduled service price. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be considered a no-show, as there may no longer be sufficient time to safely and properly perform the scheduled service. We understand that unexpected circumstances happen and will always do our best to work with our clients when possible.
